How It Works

From Your Claims To A Plan You Can Act On

You send the filing. We do the work a buyer's IP head would do, then hand you the moves they would tell you to make. Here is the method, start to finish.

The Inputs

What We Need From You

The minimum is your filing and the priority date. Claims, specification, abstract, and drawings if you have them. If your patent is issued, you already hold the granted version, which is exactly what the Playbook runs on.

We generate the rest ourselves. The targets, the comparables, the validity read, and the valuation are the product, not something you have to supply.

The Method

How We Build It

We start from the claims, because that is what a deal is actually built on. We translate the allowed scope into product capability, then ask who ships that capability today and which claim reads on which product. We score how observable the infringement really is, because a claim you can prove is worth more than one you cannot see.

Then we red-team our own work. We write the questions a buyer will raise, and we answer them in the report instead of hoping you never hear them. Last, we turn all of it into moves: who to contact, in what order, with what message.

The Playbook

What You Get

  1. Executive Verdict And Honest Read. The worth, both lenses, and the single best path, on page one.
  2. Your Paths To Cash, Ranked. Every viable way to get paid, with dollars, terms, effort, timeline, and who executes.
  3. The Action Kit. Named targets mapped to the claims they read on, a warm-intro route for each, and a ready-to-send opener. Plus the objections you will get, answered.
  4. Claim Ownership And Moat. Your allowed scope as capability and commercial impact, with detectability stated honestly per claim.
  5. Two-Lens Valuation. Assertion value and build value, side by side, each with its basis.
  6. Validity, Prior Art, And Freedom To Operate. Directional, not a legal opinion, and never skipped.
  7. Red-Team Pass. How a challenger attacks the claims now, and whether it is easy.
  8. Standards, Portfolio, And Continuation Notes.
  9. The Inventor Toolkit. What each move costs out of pocket, a deadline docket, your next five moves, and how not to get fleeced.

Every report also forks by audience. A shared summary up front, then lanes for investors, product leads, and IP heads.

The Tiers

Lite Or Full

Playbook Lite, $2,450

The full honest read, the two-lens valuation, all paths ranked, and the action kit for your single best path: its named targets, routes, and scripts. One lane, fully resourced. Everything you need to make the first move.

Playbook Full, $3,450

Everything in Lite, plus every path resourced end to end, the build-a-company plan (venture theses, named operators, comparable exits and funding, a 90-day plan), an expanded target list with a claim chart on your lead target, and deeper comparables.

Add-ons either way: a deeper target pull, a claim chart per target, prior-art firming, a refresh, or a rush. You add these only if your situation calls for them.

The Hard Rules

The Rules Every Report Passes Before It Ships

  • No valuation figure without a stated basis. If a number cannot be anchored, it gets pulled.
  • A validity and freedom-to-operate section is mandatory. Its absence is the fastest way to lose a reader.
  • Standard-essential status is treated as a volume argument, never a reason to inflate a rate.
  • The target list maps claims to products. No generic list of logos.
  • Detectability is stated honestly. We tell you when infringement is hard to see.
